King Brown's Corner
Welcome to the King Brown Mandolin Armrests blog! Here you'll find news, musings, and maybe even a yarn or two about mandolins, armrests, and everything in between. Pull up a pew, grab a cuppa, and have a read.

I built my first Mandolin in 1986 after being inspired by a fellow member of the Cardwell County Bluegrass Band. Bob Hull was our Banjo player. Since then I have made 33 Mandolins, mostly F5 Bluegrass Models with a few A Models thrown in. I have also made some Violins, a couple of Ukuleles, a Mandola and some Guitars.
These days I concentrate on making Mandolin Armrests and wooden toys for my two Grandsons (as well as fixing things they break). I also enter an article of woodwork into the Royal Queensland Show in Brisbane each year.

Well, here we are not quite 2 weeks into the New Year and news arrives via email that Sendle has suddenly and unexpectedly closed down. Although I didn't use Sendle for deliveries from this store, I have used it over the last few years for delivering my products. Their service was good with fast deliveries and good prices.
RIP Sendle. Thank you.
